Issaquah Summer Camps
Come join us for enrichment and fun at Giggly Wiggly Summer Camp! Our camps are 4 hours long and offer an exciting theme each session. Times are 9:00 – 1:00 Monday through Thursday. Price is prepaid and includes a snack, and a fabulous art project to take home each day. Camps are 2-day- $75.00 (Pony camp is $85.00). We have 2 teachers and high school and “counselors” to offer individualized attention for our campers. Students bring a sack lunch with drink and sunscreen if needed. Our summer camps fill up very fast- so sign up early to guarantee a spot for your child! We will not accept payment before July 1, 2012, but you must reserve a spot now.

Wild About Jungle Animals –July 2nd & 3rd - $75.00
Join us for an exciting jungle adventure as we hunt for snakes and negotiate a wild obstacle course. Try some exotic foods, (fear factor style), and learn about the jungle as we explore the habitat together. Enjoy the fun as we decorate our classroom with snakes and vines of the tropical forest. Art projects include painting ceramic jungle animals and decorating our explorer hats. We will also learn about the animals that live in the jungle.
Storybook Adventure- July 9th & 10th - $75.00
Once upon a time there was a storybook camp and all of the children came to see the storybook characters come to life. Come join Elmer the patchwork elephant and Rainbow Fish on their adventures. We will explore the values of diversity and sharing. This camp includes books, games, arts and crafts and fun with friends. We guarantee that if you join us you will live happily ever after.
Construction Junction- July 11th & 12th - $75.00
Calling on all budding engineers! If you like to build things, this camp is for you. Our architects will experiment with balance and gravity. We will challenge your creative side utilizing legos, flexi blocks. K’nex, magnet blocks, construx, bristle blocks, toothpicks, straws and marshmallows, and more! Our goal is to inspire your imagination and invention. At Giggly Wiggly camp we encourage your child to explore and create!
Creative Kids – July 16th & 17th - $75.00
Bring your creative side as we explore and use our imagination at this innovative arts and crafts camp. Each day we will have a variety of art projects including a 3D project, acrylic painting, and producing a community art mural. Our campers will enjoy many art mediums as they explore using bio paints, water colors, oil pastels and chalk. We will have an art show the last day. Have campers dress for mess!
What’s Bugging You? July 18th & 19th - $75.00
Insects are amazing creatures. They can be small and powerful or slimy and beautiful. Come to our insect camp and learn about the creepy crawlers around us. Our campers will get hands on experience as we go on a bug safari and identify the bugs of the Pacific NW. Crafts include making and painting a bug box to keep our specimens in and creating a firefly that really lights up! Come get with the “buzz” at this fun filled camp!
Science and Nature Camp – July 23rd & 24th - $75.00
This hands-on science camp is guaranteed to fascinate your young Einstein. We will have fun exploring laboratory science, and create experiments. Our little Adventurers will investigate energy (magnets), earth (crystals, rocks, shells) and the Cosmos. We will talk about space and blast off a rocket outside. We will explore and discover using test tubes, and magnifying glasses to learn about nature. Projects include painting a bird house and decorating a sand dollar.
Pirate and Princess Camp July 25th & 26th - $75.00
Come join your friends as we use our imagination to become pirates and princesses. Our little adventurers will follow clues to find buried treasure. Riches and gold await those who take the challenge. We will make and decorate our own treasure chests and go on a treasure hunt. What fun we will have as our little princesses make crowns and our pirates will make pirates hats at this exciting adventuresome camp! Come join us for a parade the last 10 minutes of class on the 26th.
Pony Camp- July 30th & 31st - $85.00
Howdy Partner! This is the place to come and “horse around” Gather up all of those cowboys and cowgirls and join us at the Giggly Wiggly ranch. This camp will spend one day at a horse arena where we will lean about and ride real horses. Safety helmets and trained walkers will assist our campers around the pasture. We will need parent drivers to accompany us on the 10 minute ride to the horses. Back at school the next day we will make a frame for our pictures taken on the horse! Liability forms must be signed.
My Little Pets – August 1st & 2nd - $75.00
Why are some animals furry and others feathered? How fast or slow does a turtle go? This is the “purrrfect” camp for any animal lover. At my little pets camp we will learn interesting animal facts. We will read books about pets, sing animal songs, and play with my little pets at preschool. We will also paint a ceramic piggy bank and create a turtle to take home.
Under the Sea Camp August 6th & 7th - $75.00
Climb aboard our ship SS Giggly Wiggly as it sets sail for an ocean adventure. Come investigate the wonders of the sea. Campers will learn about fish, sea turtles, shells, sharks, dolphins and whales. Come enjoy water play, marine life and sand castles. Together we will lean about the creatures that live under the sea. We will have books and sea life x-rays for the campers to examine. Art projects include painting a 3-foot fish and making an octopus.
Hey Good Looking- What’s Cooking? August 8th & 9th - $75.00
We will all be “chefs in training” as we learn about nutrition, cooperation, science, measurement and following directions. Together, we will have culinary fun as we make cheese pizza and “ants on a log” on day one. We will create delicious macaroni and cheese and fresh fruit kabobs on day two. We will also design our own aprons to take home with us.
